These terms apply to businesses and their team members who use Naamo. By creating a workspace or signing in, you agree to them.
Naamo lets a business connect its customer channels (WhatsApp, SMS, phone calls, Messenger, Instagram, web chat), answer customers with an AI agent and with its own team, manage tickets and appointments, run workflows, and see reports. Optional features include an AI coworker in Slack or Microsoft Teams, connections to other business apps, and phone numbers from Naamo or on your own Twilio account.
You are responsible for who you invite, the roles you give them, and what they do in your workspace. Keep access to your email secure: sign-in codes are sent there.
You remain responsible for your relationship with your customers, for the accuracy of the knowledge you give Naamo, and for having a lawful basis to message people. You own your content; you give us the permission needed to operate the service for you. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Channels are provided by third parties. You must follow their rules — in particular the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policy, Meta's Platform Terms, Twilio's Acceptable Use Policy, the carrier rules for business texting in the countries you message (for example A2P 10DLC registration in the United States), and Slack's and Microsoft's terms. Do not send spam or unlawful, deceptive, or harassing content, and only message people who have agreed to hear from you. Providers may charge you directly — for example for phone numbers, calls, text messages, or WhatsApp template messages.
Program:customer-support text messages from businesses that use Naamo, including Naamo's own support line. You receive texts only after you text the business first or give it your number and agree to be contacted — for example to answer your question, confirm or remind you of an appointment, or update you on a request you made. Frequency varies with your conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out (you will get one confirmation text and no further messages) and START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or write to [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We never share your mobile number or opt-in consent with third parties for marketing; see the Privacy Policy.
Naamo's AI answers from the information you provide and checks its answers before sending, but AI can still be wrong. You decide how much it may do on its own, you can require approval for sensitive topics, and you can take over any conversation. Naamo's AI does not verify payments, promise refunds, or make decisions that require your judgement. Review what matters.
Workflows you create run as you configured them, including messages to customers and actions in apps you connected. You are responsible for what your workflows do; every run is recorded so you can check it.
Do not use Naamo to break the law, to attack or probe the service, to access another business's data, to collect passwords or payment-card numbers from customers, or to build a competing dataset from the service.
Naamo is priced in credits (500 credits = US$1). A new workspace receives US$50 of free credits once; they never expire. Business plans are monthly subscriptions from US$49 to US$4,999 a month, each with a monthly allowance of credits; unused plan credits carry over for one more month. You can buy extra credits at any time, from US$20; purchased credits never expire. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money. Enterprise plans are billed under a separate written agreement. Where Naamo shows a price in euros, pounds sterling, Canadian dollars or Australian dollars, you are charged that price in that currency; elsewhere you are charged in US dollars, and Stripe may show the amount in your own currency at checkout. You receive the same credits whichever currency you pay in.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions are charged in advance and renew automatically every month until you cancel. Moving to a bigger plan is charged straight away for the rest of the month (prorated) and its extra credits are added at once; moving to a smaller plan works the same way, with the difference credited to your next invoice. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, which are added where the law requires. We give at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to your subscription, and we warn you before your credits run out.
Business plans include one phone number from Naamo; each extra number is US$5 a month. Calls and text messages are paid from your credits. Fees that phone carriers and messaging providers charge for your business — for example the one-time US$19.50 and US$1.50 a month to register a business for texting from a US local number — are passed on at cost.
You can cancel your plan at any time in Settings → Plan & usage → Manage billing. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for; the workspace then moves to the Free plan and your data stays until you close the workspace. If a payment fails, we retry it and tell you; if it remains unpaid, the subscription may end and the workspace moves to the Free plan.
Subscription fees and purchased credits are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or where you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge): write to [email protected] within 30 days of the charge and we will put it right. Fees already paid to carriers and other third parties on your behalf cannot be refunded.
We work to keep Naamo available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; third-party channels can fail or change. We may change features with reasonable notice. You can stop using Naamo at any time; we may suspend a workspace that breaks these terms or endangers others. On closure, data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
To the extent the law allows, Naamo is provided “as is”, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
